Meet Our Team
Dr. Jake Farida
Dr. Jake Farida joined us in 2015 and now serves as Dental Director and partner. Dr. Farida earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a Bachelor of Art in History from Wayne State University. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. He focuses on restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and esthetics. He enjoys the field of dentistry as it allows him to overcome new challenges every day. Dr. Farida enjoys meeting and interacting with new patients, along with bringing a positive change to their lives
Dr. Danielle Dawisha
Dr. Danielle Dawisha received her Bachelor of Science (BS) from The University of Detroit Mercy and her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She has also received additional training in SureSmile.
Dr. Dawisha pursued a career in dentistry because she was a dental assistant prior to applying to dental school and knew what the field entailed; she enjoyed being at work and learning more about oral health!
Her favorite part about being a dentist is helping her patients, who are experiencing pain, feel more comfortable with their smile esthetically. She also enjoys dentistry because it allows her to give patients the confidence they need when it comes to their smiles. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry but she especially enjoys fillings, crowns/bridges and extractions.
Dr. Dawisha has been able to serve the underserved communities through mission trips in Las Terrenas and Puerto Plata, in the Dominican Republic, with the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.
In her free time, Dr. Dawisha enjoys spending time with her family, friends and dog, Cooper. She also likes to read books.
